Description

Ring in the New Year with some quality fly fishing on the South Fork of the Snake River in Swan Valley, ID.

Although temperatures are in the low single digits during the day (-2 at noon today, the 29th) and in the negative teens at night, hearty anglers successfully are working the area in front of the Palisades Dam.

Water is being discharged at 912 cubic feet per second and its temperature coming through the gates is 32.9 degrees.

For fishing licenses and appropriate flies for this time of year for your wade fishing, contact Gary Duncan at the Rendezvous at the South Fork at 208-483-2267.
