Kelsey's Kamp offers an excellent view of the Tetons, located in the heart of Yellowstone Territory. We are 3 miles north of St. Anthony, a small historic town that has been famous for having the only stop light in Fremont County. Fremont County is about the size of Rhode Island. Or you can visit the St. Anthony Sand Dunes, which is less than 5 miles from St. Anthony. If you ask the right people they might even take you to the caves. Within an hours drive north you can be in Island Park, home of the longest main street in the country. Island Park offers some of the best fishing in the United States. Travel up the road a bit the West Yellowstone, gateway to Yellowstone National Park. In West Yellowstone you can get some amazing souvenirs to remember your fun time here. Eat at the numerous restaurants, visit the Playhouse Theater or just stroll a round the city.
If you head south you can end up in Rexburg, home of Brigham Young University and see their exquisite temple on the hill. Go a little farther to Yellowstone Bear World where you can see lots of bears, bison and elk as you drive right next to them. You might also be able to feed a baby bear. Continuing south, about 45 minutes from Kelsey's Kamp will put you in Idaho Falls. The largest city in SE Idaho. There you can see a play on Broadway, visit a museum, shop until you drop, and walk leisurely along the Greenbelt of the Snake River.
Need more souvenirs? For the more adventurous, about 45 minutes south of Idaho Falls is the Ft. Hall Indian Reservation. The Indians are all friendly and they have a large casino for the adults.
If you head east from, Kelsey's Kamp, you can go to Jackson Hole, WY., and excellent visitor spot, full of mountains, incredible scenery, and you can visit restaurants, bars, shopping and even have a buffalo burger.
