Teton Valley

Once called Pierre's Hole, Teton Valley was the site of an annual rendezvous where fur trappers and traders would meet to exchange furs and supplies. Today, Teton Valley is a thriving community renowned for its outdoor adventure scene. Located on the western side of the world-famous Teton Range, summer brings opportunities for hiking, mountain biking, camping, fishing, and fun on the river, while winter brings opportunities for skiing at Grand Targhee Resortsnowmobiling, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and other winter fun.

Driggs and Victor make excellent basecamps, with plenty of restaurants to enjoy, whether you crave pizza, Thai food, or a stop at a local brewery.

The valley is also known for its ranching and agriculture, and a stop at the Farmer’s Market (held on Fridays during the summer) allows a sampling of some of the local fare. A growing number of restaurants also use locally-sourced ingredients, from beef and world-famous Idaho potatoes to salad greens. Sample the flavors, take in the adventure, and make memories to last a lifetime on your trip to Teton Valley.
