About the Trail

The Lost Gold Trails Loop is a scenic driving route in Idaho, that takes drivers on a journey through some of the state’s most beautiful and remote landscapes. Spanning nearly 50 miles, the loop is a perfect way to explore Idaho’s rugged backcountry and discover some of the state’s hidden gems.

Along the way ...

Visitors can explore ancient mining towns, visit the Heritage Hall Museum, see the Beaver Canyon, and hike on the Nez Perce Trail.
