2016 Vote Your Park Campaign

In 2016, the Partners in Preservation: National Parks campaign has teamed up with American Express and the National Trust for Historic Preservation. Together, they will provide $2 million in grants to repair historic sites in national parks.

Partners in Preservation: National Parks: is asking the public to #VoteYourPark and help decide who will win the grant. To vote, go to

Yellowstone National Park is the only national park in our area eligible for the contest.

When voting, each individual will vote for their five favorite national parks. Voters can return to the site each day and vote again. Voting is now open and goes through July 5.

At the end of the voting process, the national parks with the most votes will receive grants to complete their historic restoration projects.

Additionally, thanks to National Geographic, the 2016 media sponsor, each individual who votes is into a sweepstakes for a chance to win a trip to Yellowstone National Park.
