Teton River Basin
On the western side of the Grand Teton Mountains lies the Teton Valley and River. Over two thirds of this mountain valley is pasture, open range and fertile fields bordered by forested hills and peaks. These rugged peaks and forested hills stand in stark contrast to each other enhancing the beauty of the area. Over 100 species of migrating birds visit this area. Wildlife viewing, trout fishing and hunting opportunities are excellent.

The Teton River can provide some fast action for novice and expert fisherman alike. This river boasts cutthroat, rainbows and Browns. Because the Teton narrows trip has limited access, you might fish all day and not see another fisherman. The Teton has a serenity all its own that can only be experienced and will undoubtedly leave you with fond memories for years to come.
