It's not too late to plan a late spring or summer get-away to Yellowstone-Teton Territory.

Easy access to eastern Idaho is available through flights landing at Idaho Falls Airport or the Jackson Airport in WY.

Allegiant Air has some fantastic fares from Los Angeles, CA; Oakland/San Francisco, CA; Mesa/Phoenix, AZ and Las Vegas, NV directly into Idaho Falls Airport.

Hansen Guest Ranch (www.hansenguestranch.com) in Swan Valley is 43 miles from the IF Airport and 53 miles from the Jackson Airport.

Private planes can land at Teton Aviation in Driggs, ID or at Alpine Aviation in Alpine, WY.  Both private airports are within 30 miles of the guest ranch.

Start your day with a full sit-down breakfast and then hit the road for a once-in-a-lifetime experience of nature's wonders.

The west entrance to Yellowstone National Park is just 95 miles up the road, and the scenic drive offers an opportunity to stop in Victor at The Emporium for their famous huckleberry fudge milk shake.

Drive through Yellowstone Bear World to give the kids a chance to see an assortment of wildlife and then continue up Highway 20 to take some great pictures at the Upper and Lower Mesa Falls before touring through Island Park and on to the West Entrance.

All roads are open in Yellowstone National Park and there are so many must sees besides Old Faithful, the melting pots and an assortment of wildlife.  Photo ops abound, so don't be in a hurry.

Exiting Yellowstone National Park via the south also allows you to take in some of the sights in Grand Teton National Park and work your way to Jackson Hole.

The return trip to the Hansen Guest Ranch over the Teton Pass offers pull outs for views of breathtaking scenery and rare majestic vistas.

Your itinerary also can include white water rafting with Mad River Outfitters on the Snake River in Hoback Canyon, zip lining and water slides at Heise Hot Springs, a trail ride with lunch on the trail with Swan Valley Outfitters or hourly horseback rides at Granite Creek Dude Ranch.

Premier dry fly fishing on the South Fork of the Snake River is minutes from the ranch, and anglers can enjoy breakfast with their guides.
