Description

Resting at the junction of two Scenic Byways - Mesa Falls Scenic Byway and Teton Scenic Byway - all roads leading in to and out of Ashton are avenues of majestic scenic beauty. The numerous mountains, lakes, rivers, meandering streams, lush forests and open meadows draw sightseers and sportsmen year round.

Summers are pleasant with temperatures generally topping off around 80 degrees. Great temperatures for all types of summer activities. Winters are cold with lots of snow, providing a snow covered landscape enjoyed by winter sports enthusiasts of all ages. This is a great place for individuals seeking a little solitude, for couples wanting an intimate romantic getaway, and/or for families planning their next great vacation.

Regardless of the season there is always something fun to do and many things to see in and around the Ashton area. In addition to summer and winter activities, annual community events include the American Dog Derby, Mountain Man Rendezvous, 4th of July Celebration and the Mesa Falls Marathon.
